COME IN AND STAY A WHILE...

THE LIGHT FROM YOUR SPIRIT WILL WARM A SPOT IN MY HEART, AND MY DAY WILL BE BRIGHTER BECAUSE YOU CAME TO VISIT.

Today's Life Thought

You can depend on yourself if you believe in yourself. If you believe in yourself you can accomplish great things.

Remember this...

Today may you be content with yourself knowing you are a work in progress. May there be peace within your heart and in your mind. May you trust that you are exactly in the place God made for you. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

History and other stuff about my web logue

I have been hearing about blogging for some time now. I finally decided I would try it out. This month April 2010...I gave it a shot and set up my Liv or Let Di Blog. I do not know a lot about the mechanics of layout and customizing my page, but the entire experience, although very new, has been great fun. My original intention was to do political commentary and perhaps some political satire...so far I have done neither. Any day when I have time, I try to post something and sometimes I add a new little gadget to my home page.
Please come often to visit...you never know what you may find...

A day in the life of an aquarium....
Snorks and Tobias are twins. Which ones are Snorks and Tobias? You guessed the two black fish didn't you. Well, they are not Snorks and Tobias.
The female black is Keneta...named for a friend of mine who is an absolute genius as everything she does. The male black is Ringo. He is Keneta's cousin. He is learning from Keneta how to be a big fish in a little pond.
So, try again....the post of the true identity will show up somewhere. Send me your guess. 2b continued....TTFN

05/02/10     Sure the majority is guessing the two black fish...I knew it.
Well, you should know by now that whatever I post is not going to be the obvious...so obviously it is not the two black fish...but then I have explained that already.

Are you one of the few that guessed the orange and the green?  Well, guess what: You are not correct....That is four down....try again.

Okay, for crying out loud...I will just tell you...Tobias and Snorks are the Gray and Pink fish! They obviously are not identical twins. The two are Siamese twins! Their progenitors originated in Siam, now known as Thailand, they are not "conjoined siblings!"
Tobias, a male Siamese Pink Tabor Perch is very protective of his sister, Snorks. Snorks is a female Siamese Gray Tabor Perch  who, while a self-starter and active hunter, depends on her brother to protect her home and teach her the ropes of the river (ah, aquarium) and often relies on him to procure possible mates for her.(FYI--Gray Tabor Perch are actually an albino variety of the Pink species but are of superior intelligence according to the Department of Fish with Scales Psychological Testing and Development from the University of Prague.)
This rare species when kept in captivity usually tend to remain quite small in size. When in the wilds of nature, however, the species has been known to grow as large as 6'5" in length with a girth of up to 60". While they are off kin to the Siamese Algae Eater, commonly found in aquariums, the Tabor Perch feeds on other fish, Hyacinth, and small wading wildlife if not fed a constant diet of Purina Tabor Perch Cursor Chow.
Federal Fish and Wildlife Wardens have recently reported sightings of the larger Tabor Perch in domestic waters...........
